Garden Of Earthly Delights!
Did you all enjoy the awesomeness of Fashion Week Illustree #5? Such a lovely parade of art over the past 10 days..I was so happy to be a part of it! Merry-Go-Astound!
I painted this Christmas present for my friend Abby’s daughter. Her name is Astrid, she’s in first grade, into girly stuff & her room is painted cotton candy pink. Awesome! I decided to go with inspiration from the Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 show- I thought the carousel backdrop was perfect for somebody Astrid’s age, while still being totally high fashion. And you can’t go wrong with a pink & yellow flowery frock! I’m thinking it’s a piece that she’ll appreciate now, as well as when she’s older. Merry Merry! xo

Blossoms Up! Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2012
It’s chilly & grey in New York City, so that means I need some fun, colorful prints to brighten my day…and hopefully yours too! By now it’s no secret that I love this Dolce & Gabbana collection of oversized garden prints & jewels. This sheer dress covered in squash blossoms is the perfect look for a picnic in the park! Is it Spring yet? xoxo
