Blossoms Up! Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2012
It’s chilly & grey in New York City, so that means I need some fun, colorful prints to brighten my day…and hopefully yours too! By now it’s no secret that I love this Dolce & Gabbana collection of oversized garden prints & jewels. This sheer dress covered in squash blossoms is the perfect look for a picnic in the park! Self Portrait with Tweak
Pets are Popping Up at the RS Pop Adoption Shop! Come out on November 9th & November 30th for an AWESOME cause…I’ll be sketching people & their animal companions on those dates. One hundred percent of the sketch donations will go directly to NYC Animal Adoption Shelters. And while you’re at it, why not adopt a sweet kitty or pup to take home? Now that’s priceless. Basil, October 2011
Or not. This is my little love cat, Basil. She’s the sweetest thing ever & loves to hang out under my warm drawing lamps. It never fails- every time I run downstairs to make a cup of tea (which is pretty much a 24/7 affair), she’ll jump up on my drawing table, taste the paint water (!) & take a catnap in the middle of my workspace. She meows in protest every time I move her to her other perch. All in a day’s work! xo

Lady Madonna, Emilio Pucci S/S 2012
This red & black combo totally reminded me of Madonna’s ‘Who’s That Girl’ phase, although thoroughly refined & grown up. Button up the jacket & you can wear this to dinner…or slip the jacket off & slip onto the dance floor in the sexy lace bustier. You’ll surely be ‘causing a commotion’! xoxo
